Through community connections, spiritual growth, and compassionate service, we show up consistently for our neighborhoods—because we believe every person has the potential to shine, reflecting the light of Jesus!
How Illuminations Began
After serving for nearly a decade in online ministry with Zion Church, I felt God calling me to something different—to serve locally, right here in my own community. As I drove through the streets of Jersey City, I saw the need everywhere: dirty streets, hopelessness, and people who desperately needed the light of Jesus Christ. That’s when God tugged on my heart to do something about it—and Illuminations Ministries was born.
We exist to spread the light of Jesus Christ throughout our city—gathering in community, growing in faith, and glowing for Christ. I believe no one is beyond the love of God in Jesus Christ. Every person has the potential to shine, reflecting His light in their neighborhoods, their families, and their lives.
Illuminations isn’t about waiting for people to come to us. It’s about showing up where life happens—on the corner, on the block, around the table—because that’s where transformation begins.
